Ruth has 25 years’ experience in creating communications for a range of industries including for oil, hospitality, banking and insurance, charities, food and beverage, the NHS and professional services. This experience means that she draws upon a mix of both traditional and digital channels to make sure that your messages are heard.
Ruth’s career has covered most aspects of communications including magazine publishing, marketing and PR, and internal communications. She has worked in a range of industries, writing and developing communication strategies for employees, customers and key stakeholders, including for boards and senior executives.
Before founding Chirp, Ruth developed, created and managed communications for “the worlds’ biggest business global change programme” for Royal Dutch Shell. This involved communications for over 20,000 staff, 7,000 suppliers and more than 60,000 customers globally across 7 businesses and the customer service centre.
Ruth offers her vast communications experience to businesses across the UK, helping companies both large and small to win new clients, enjoy business growth and win awards proving their success.
Her current clients are enjoying being finalists in business, industry and marketing awards including CIM 2018 and the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2018.
She is currently ghost writing two eBooks, developing engagement strategies, promoting events and writing effective content for online and print.
Ruth enjoys travel, recently returning from a California road trip, the theatre and reading a jolly good book.
